Why Timber Tony

My business name was actually derived from one of my greatest extracurricular passions: soccer, and the Portland Timbers are my RCTID team! As a long-time PTFC fan, soccer coach, player & FIFA referee, I'm keeping my soccer passion alive through the name Timber Tony the Handyman.

Prior to dedicating my time and energy to helping others with their general contracting and handyman needs, I had a 40-year career in Information Technology. From Systems Engineer programming on old IBM mainframe systems to executive servant IT leadership for fortune 500 companies, I've been through the deep IT trenches of keeping up with technology over the years.  Now, I'm putting my engineering mindset to one of my lifelong hobbies - woodworking, handyman services and general contracting.
